Patrick Rubinstein is a French-Israeli artist born in 1960, recognized for his optical kinetic sculptures known as “YvaRal paintings.” His works, composed of rotating vertical slats on which distinct images are painted, reveal two different pictures depending on the viewing angle. This technique, inherited from Op Art and kineticism, creates striking visual experiences that interrogate perception and duality. His work is held in numerous private and institutional collections worldwide.
