Modern Masters
(Alexander Calder, Lynn Chadwick, Manolo Valdés, Jim Dine)
This Viewing Room brings together major figures of 20th-century modern art, creating a dialogue between abstraction and figuration across sculpture and works on paper.
The selection features gouaches by Alexander Calder, whose exploration of movement reshaped modern sculpture; bronze sculptures by Lynn Chadwick; a bronze sculpture with golden patina by Manolo Valdés; and works by Jim Dine, a central figure of American Pop Art.
Together, these works highlight the technical diversity and lasting influence of modern masters.
