Biography

The video installations of Swiss artist Marck combine video, sculpture, multimedia elements, performance and music. The protagonists in most of his works are women who are trapped in narrow spaces, representing the limitations imposed by society on them. They are limited in their movement, but use the narrow space provided to them for exploring, hoping for a dissolution of boundaries. The artist, however, does not want his art to function as a mouthpiece for women’s issues; he simply chose to observe society through women’s status in it.

Marck currently lives and works in Switzerland.
