Nationally and internationally acclaimed artist, Joe Fafard, was born September 2, 1942 to French-Canadian parents in the small agricultural community of Ste. Marthe, in Saskatchewan.
Mr. Fafard was one of the most innovative professional artists with exhibitions in museums and galleries worldwide. His works are recognized for their detail and charm. A pioneering artist, Joe Fafard is widely recognized for his outstanding contributions to the arts, enriching the profile of Saskatchewan and Canada on a national scale.
